A Day at the Beach (348 words)

It was a hot and sunny day, and Nong was very excited. Her family had planned a day trip to the beach, and she couldn't wait to build sandcastles and swim in the ocean. She wore her new swimsuit and packed her bucket and towel in her bag. Before they left, her mom reminded her to put on sunscreen and wear her sunglasses to protect her from the sun.

When they arrived at the beach, Nong ran straight to the water. She loved the feeling of the cool waves splashing on her skin. She used her bucket to collect shells and build sandcastles with her dad. Her mom laid out the towel and they all sat down to enjoy the warm sunshine.

After a while, Nong started to feel thirsty. Her dad gave her some water and they all had some snacks. They watched the boats sailing by in the distance and the seagulls flying overhead. It was a beautiful day.

As the sun started to set, Nong and her family started to pack up their things. They shook off the sand from their towels and put everything back in their bags. Nong felt tired but happy. She had a lot of fun at the beach and couldn't wait to come back again.

When they got home, Nong's mom reminded her to take a shower to wash off all the sand and saltwater. Nong used her favorite bath soap and splashed around in the bathtub, pretending she was still in the ocean.

As she got ready for bed, Nong felt her skin starting to sting. She had forgotten to put on more sunscreen after swimming in the ocean. Her mom gently rubbed some lotion on her skin and told her it was important to take care of her skin when she spent time in the sun.

Nong fell asleep dreaming about the next time she would go to the beach. She loved the feeling of the sand between her toes and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. She couldn't wait for another adventure.
