SPELLING LIST FOR UNIT 2

These are the words on the spelling list. Listen and repeat after the teacher:

Each set contains ten words. In the first week, let the students complete Set A, and in the second week, assign Set B.

DICTATION FOR UNIT 2

These are the words from this unit in sentences. Scroll down for exercises. Please note, the exercises for the end of term Dictation Exam are on the LISTENING page.

1. It’s raining and I’m wearing a jacket and boots.
2. In the evening, I wear pajamas and put on slippers.
3. It’s hot and I’m wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
4. I have a checked blouse and a plaid skirt.
5. I like my polka dot dress.
6. I need to buy new socks, shoes and shirts for school.
7. I’m wearing jeans and an old sweatshirt.
8. My mother gave me a striped dress.
9. My pants and sweater have holes in them.

DICTATION EXERCISES

These exercises are intended for students to develop their listening skills. There are two versions available: Easy, which includes gaps for words not on the spelling list, and Hard, which includes all the words.
